HighPots developed an AI-supported expert system for an international medical device manufacturer that automatically converts images from MRI, CT, and X-ray devices from 2D to 3D. This enables radiologists to evaluate findings more quickly and accurately. Our solution combines state-of-the-art deep learning architectures (CNN), validated training data from radiology, and continuous fine-tuning through reinforcement learning. The result: a system that achieves an extremely low error rate according to the SixSigma standard—and is directly integrated into the diagnostic software. Doctors and patients also benefit from the fact that results can be queried and questioned in natural language.
