For us as a medium-sized software development service provider with only approx. 200 FTEs, the risks are too high for us to be able to use cloud systems from global providers. Many other medium-sized companies think similarly to us. To highlight some important risks and efforts:

We work with the cloud systems of the big players on behalf of our customers. But internally at HighPots, we use our own cloud, primarily based on open source and European software. This also applies to LLM AIs – all on our own servers.

We also work internally at HighPots with all systems listed on this website. Therefore, we have many years of experience in dealing with these systems, both from a technical perspective and from the user’s perspective.

Furthermore, we drive the networking and integration of these systems with each other by developing ever new interfaces.

In the Office365 universe, it is becoming increasingly confusing and colorful. Integrations and mergers of Teams, Skype, Outlook, Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive and other Office applications, as well as with Windows itself, make it difficult to distinguish which information was transmitted on which channel.
